He held the position of Director General of Insurance from 1979 to 1983 and was Secretary, Finance Department, Federal Treasury from 1983 to 1985. In 1985 he was loaned as Director General of National Rice and Padi Board. In 1986 he was Secretary General, Ministry of Public Enterprise. In 1990 he was Secretary General, Ministry of International Trade and Industry and finally retired as Secretary General, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs. |
