Reference is made to the Company's announcements dated 27 April 2016 and 28 April 2016 in relation to the Proposed Special Bumiputera Issue. Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations and definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the abovementioned announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of PLabs, RHB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Company proposes to undertake a special Bumiputera Issue of up to 19,270,000 new PLabs Shares, representing approximately 8.52% of the new enlarged issued and paid-up share capital of PLabs to Bumiputera investors to be identified by the Company and/or MITI and approved by MITI at an issue price to be determined later after obtaining all the relevant approvals ("Proposed Special Bumiputera Issue").

Further to the above, the SC(ECU) has, via its letter dated 3 June 2016 which was received today, approved the Proposed Special Bumiputera Issue.
