Description	VANTRIS ENERGY BERHAD (formally known as Sapura Energy Berhad) ("VANTRIS ENERGY" OR THE "COMPANY") EXEMPTION UNDER SUBPARAGRAPH 4.08(1)(C) OF THE RULES ON TAKE-OVERS, MERGERS AND COMPULSORY ACQUISITION ISSUED BY THE SECURITIES COMMISSION MALAYSIA ("SC") FOR MALAYSIA DEVELOPMENT HOLDING SDN BHD ("MDH") AND ITS PERSON ACTING IN CONCERT FROM THE OBLIGATION TO UNDERTAKE THE MANDATORY OFFER ("EXEMPTION") IN RELATION TO THE REGULARISATION PLAN
We refer to the announcements in relation to the Regularisation Plan. Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the said announcements. On behalf of the Board, MBSB Investment Bank Berhad (formerly known as MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad) wishes to announce that on 4 September 2025, Vantris Energy received notification from MDH that the SC, through its letter dated 29 August 2025, has approved the application for the Exemption.
