We refer to our announcements dated 13 July 2012 and 29 August 2012 and the news article published in Business Times, Page B5, on Saturday, 6 October 2012 (the "Article"), particularly on the statement which states that:

"SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad has acquired a 38 per cent stake in derrick lay barge Quippo Prakash ....for US$122 million."

The Company wishes to clarify that it had acquired the remaining 74% stake in Quippo Prakash Pte Ltd ("Quippo Prakash") for USD22,549.617.11 and not as published in the Article.
