PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF THE ENTIRE ISSUED AND OUTSTANDING COMMON SHARES OF NEWFIELD MALAYSIA HOLDING INC. FOR A TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF UNITED STATES DOLLAR ("USD") 898,000,000 TO BE SATISFIED ENTIRELY BY CASH ("PROPOSED ACQUISITION")

The Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to announce that the resolution as set out in the Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") dated 21 November 2013 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition has been duly passed by the shareholders of SKPB at the EGM held today.
