(III) PROPOSED EXEMPTION; (IV) PROPOSED ESOS; AND

(V) PROPOSED AMENDMENTS

(COLLECTIVELY TO BE REFERRED TO AS "PROPOSALS")

(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Company's announcement dated 24 August 2018)

We refer to the Company's announcements dated 24 August 2018, 18 September 2018, 24 September 2018, 25 September 2018, 26 September 2018 and 16 October 2018 in relation to the Proposals.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the Shariah Advisory Council of the Securities Commission Malaysia had, vide its letter dated 2 November 2018, informed that it has no objection to the Proposed Rights Issue of RCPS-i.
