INTRODUCTION

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Mycom, Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad (Amanah) sets out the additional information as requested by Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in its letter dated 21 August 2000 (Ref: ZO-000821-59527).

1. NET BOOK VALUE OF KHD LAND

As stated in the announcement on 14 August 2000, the net book value of the land is RM4,851,572. The said net book value includes Lots 21763 to 21768 to be acquired by Mycom (KHD Land) and four (4) parcels of land (Lots 21759 to 21762) in the same location to be acquired by Olympia Industries Berhad (OIB) (Total Land). The net book value of KHD Land cannot be segregated from the Total Land as the cost incurred on the Total Land was not identified to specific parcel of land.

2. DATE AND COST OF INVESTMENT OF KHD LAND

The vendor, Kenny Height Developments Sdn Bhd (KHD) acquired the Total Land for a purchase consideration of RM2,551,500. The purchase consideration cannot be identified between the parcels of land to be purchased by OIB or Mycom, respectively as the cost incurred on the Total Land was not identified to specific parcel of land. KHD acquired Lots 21764 to 21768 on 9 January 1973 and Lot 21763 on 26 June 1989.

3. DATE OF INVESTMENT IN COMPANIES

The dates of investment by OIB and certain of its subsidiaries in the companies to be acquired by Mycom are set out in Table 1.

4. DIRECTORS AND SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDERS OF KHD

The Directors of KHD are Lim Kee Seng and Noradzman bin Mat Idris. The substantial shareholders and their respective shareholdings are set out in Table 2.

5. DIRECTORS’ AND SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDERS’ INTEREST

There are no other person(s) connected to the Directors and substantial shareholders, which have direct or indirect interest in the Proposals other than the parties stated in the announcement made on 14 August 2000.
