| Working experience and occupation | Muhammad Ramizu started his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen (which later merged with Ernst & Young ("EY"), Malaysia in 2000. He later joined ECM Libra Berhad before leaving in 2004 to join EY, United Kingdom as an Executive, National Audit. His last employment in United Kingdom was as a Manager, Corporate Finance of BDO, Reading, Thames Valley, United Kingdom before returning to Malaysia to join KLCC Group in 2010 as the Head of Corporate Finance & Account Services. In the KLCC Group, he played key roles in the various corporate exercises including the establishment of KLCCP Stapled REIT.
In 2014, he joined Sapura Resources Berhad as the Chief Financial Officer of the Aviation Business and in 2016, as the Group Head of Finance of Putrajaya Leisures & Services Group Sdn. Bhd. He was appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer of Terengganu Incorporated Sdn. Bhd. from 2019 to January 2020, the holding company of Golden Pharos Berhad.
Amongst his current positions are as the Financial Advisor of Mentri Besar Trengganu (Incorporated), a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Golden Pharos Berhad, a Director of Permodalan Terengganu Berhad and a member of the Investment Committee of Yayasan Terengganu. |
