| Working experience and occupation | Encik Kasmuri has more than 50 years of experience in various capacities involving plantations agribusiness namely oil palms, rubber, cocoa and coconut. He began his career in 1973 as an Estate Assistant/Senior Assistant Manager at Harrisons & Crosfield PLC (H&C) which later became Harrisons Malaysian Plantations Berhad and Golden Hope Plantations Berhad (Golden Hope). In 1982, he was appointed as Estate Manager and was later promoted to various positions as Estate Visiting Agent, General Manager, Director of Estates and Group Director, Plantations Agribusiness until he retired in 2006. From 2006 to 2008, Encik Kasmuri was a Director of Special Functions and later as the Consultant, Lead Trainer for Golden Hope. In 2008, Encik Kasmuri joined Poliplant Group, Indonesia and Clarity Resources Ltd, Hong Kong based in Jakarta, Indonesia as a Director on its Board and Corporate & Operational Director where he served until 2015. During this period, he had successfully led the development and management of more than 50,000 hectares of oil palm plantation, most of which from green fields in Ketapang, Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia.
