UMW wishes to announce that WSP Holdings Limited (“WSP”), a 22.3%-owned associate company in the UMW Group, listed on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) had, on 13th December 2011, announced to the NYSE that its Board of Directors has formed a special committee of independent directors to consider strategic alternatives which would enhance shareholder value.
