Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations, definitions and terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those used in the Company’s announcements dated 19 January 2017, 27 February 2017, 3 March 2017, 11 April 2017, 4 May 2017, 14 June 2017 and 19 June 2017 as well as the circular to the shareholders of the Company dated 12 April 2017 in relation to the Proposals. On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the Proposals have been completed, following the lodgement of a sealed copy of the order from the High Court of Malaya confirming the special resolutions for the Proposals on 5 July 2017 and the crediting of the Distribution Shares into the accounts of the Entitled Shareholders of UMWH on 11 July 2017. Following the completion of the Distribution, the UMW-OG Group has been demerged from the UMWH Group. This Announcement is dated 11 July 2017. |
