| Working experience and occupation | Dato' Siow Kim Lun has considerable experience in investment banking and securities market regulation. He started his career in investment banking with Malaysian International Merchant Bankers in 1981 and had served as a Manager in its Corporate Finance Division. In 1985, he joined Permata Chartered Merchant Bank Berhad (now known as Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad) as Manager of Corporate Finance and subsequently became the Divisional Head of its Corporate Finance Division. From 1993 to 2006, Dato' Siow was with the Securities Commission and had served as the Director of its Issues & Investment Division (now known as Corporate Finance & Investment Division) and Director of its Market Supervision Division. |
