(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used in this Announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the Company’s announcement dated 26 June 2020 in relation to the Writ of Summons filed by Deepak Jaikishan a/l Jaikishan Rewachand against UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd and others)

Further to the announcements made on 26 June 2020 and 1 July 2020, the Company wishes to announce that the inter-parte application for injunction was heard at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on 8 July 2020 and adjourned for decision today. The Court has dismissed the Plaintiff’s application for an ad interim/inter-parte injunction against UMW Toyota.

Upon the ex-parte injunction expiring at 12.00 tonight, there will no longer be an injunction in place against UMW Toyota.

The Company will make further announcement on any material development in this matter from time to time.
