UMW Holdings Berhad (“UMW”) wishes to announce that UMW Oilfield International (M) Sdn Bhd (“UOIM”) and UMW Technology Sdn Bhd (“UTech”), the dormant subsidiaries in the UMW Group, have today commenced members’ voluntary winding up pursuant to Section 439(1) of the Companies Act 2016 and Ms Lam Suk Kham of Evernew Formations Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the Liquidator of UOIM and UTech.

The members’ voluntary winding up of UOIM and UTech are not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of the UMW Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2021.
