UMW wishes to announce that UMW Pressure Control Sdn Bhd, its dormant subsidiary company incorporated in Malaysia, is being placed under members’ voluntary winding up as part of UMW’s initiative to reduce the number of dormant companies in the Group and to eliminate unnecessary administrative costs in maintaining the said subsidiary further. Ms Lynda Pan Seng Wee of Securities Services (Holdings) Sdn Bhd has been appointed Liquidator of the said company, for liquidation purposes. There is no material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the Group for the financial year ending 31st December 2013 arising from the liquidation.
