Further to our announcement dated 27^th April 2011 on the above matter, we have today received confirmation from the liquidator, Ms Lam Suk Kham of LP-One Corporate Secretarial Sdn Bhd, that the winding up of the dormant subsidiary in the UMW Group namely Seat Industries (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has been fully completed.

The winding up is part of UMW’s initiative to reduce the number of dormant companies in the Group and to eliminate unnecessary administrative costs in maintaining the subsidiaries further.
