UMW Holdings Berhad (“the Company or UMWH”) wishes to announce that UMW Petrodril Siam Co. Ltd. ("UPD-S”), a wholly-owned dormant subsidiary of UMW Oil & Gas Corporation Berhad (“UMW-OG”), which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of UMWH, has today received confirmation from the Liquidator, Ms Pattamakan Suparp, that the winding up of UPD-S has been fully completed on 30th August 2013.

The winding up was part of the proposed internal reorganisation for the Proposed Listing of UMW-OG as per the Company’s Circular to the Shareholders dated 16 July 2013. The liquidation of UPD-S have no material effect on the earnings and net assets of the UMWH Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2013.
