The Board of Directors of UMW (save for the interested directors, namely, Tan Sri Dato' Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman, Datin Paduka Kartini Hj Abdul Manaf and Encik Shahin Farouque Jammal Ahmad and Encik Ahmad Adib Mukhtar (being the Alternate Director to Encik Shahin Farouque Jammal Ahmad)) wishes to announce the appointment of Maybank Investment Bank Berhad as Principal Adviser to the Company in relation to the Proposed Mandatory General Offer.
