Further to our announcement dated 27 December 2021 on the above matter, we wish to inform that UMW Oilfield International (M) Sdn Bhd ("UOIM"), a dormant subsidiary in the UMW Group had convened its Final Meeting on 1 December 2023. The Return by Liquidator Relating to Final Meeting had been lodged with the Companies Commission of Malaysia and the Official Receiver on 4 December 2023 ("Lodgement Date"). Pursuant to Section 459(5) of the Companies Act 2016, UOIM will be duly dissolved on the expiration of three months after the Lodgement Date.
