UMW Holdings Berhad (“UMW”) wishes to announce that U-TravelWide Sdn Bhd (“U-Travel”), a dormant subsidiary in the UMW Group, had on 6 February 2024 commenced members’ voluntary winding up pursuant to Section 439(1) of the Companies Act 2016 and Ms Lam Suk Kham of Evernew Formations Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the Liquidator of U-Travel.

The members’ voluntary winding up of U-Travel is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of the UMW Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2024.
