| Based on the issued and paid-up share capital of CIMB as at 31 March 2010 of 3,531,765,410 CIMB Shares and assuming that all the warrants are exercised at the exercise price of RM10.00 each and the treasury shares are resold at the cost of acquisition on or prior to the Entitlement Date (as defined herein), a maximum of 3,582,387,823 Bonus Shares will be allotted and issued on the basis of one (1) Bonus Share for every one (1) existing CIMB Share held at 5.00 p.m. on 21 May 2010. The date of listing of and quotation for the Bonus Shares to be issued on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad will be at 9.00 a.m. on 24 May 2010, being the market day immediately following the Entitlement Date. Symphony Share Registrars Sdn Bhd, the registrar of CIMB, will issue and dispatch the Notice of Allotment to all entitled shareholders on or before 31 May 2010.
