We refer to your letter dated 13 January 2003 in relation to the above news appearing on page 57 of The Edge, Monday, 13 January 2003.
We wish to inform the Exchange that as at today, Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad has not received any indication or proposal from UDA Holdings Bhd or any other party to acquire the equity interest in Kuala Lumpur Sentral Sdn Bhd.

We refer to the above news article appearing in The Edge, page 57, on Monday,
13 January 2003, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence,
which are reproduced as follows:
" ... MRCB's KL Sentral project is likely to be injected into UDA in the
future. "
