We refer to the letter dated 2 July 2004 from Bursa Malaysia ("the Exchange") to DRB-HICOM Berhad ("DRB-HICOM") with regard to the above article appearing in The Edge, Financial Daily, pages 1 and 2, on Friday, 2 July 2004, in particular the following sentence :-
"DRB-HICOM Berhad's joint-venture waste management company MBM-Alam Flora WLL ..... clinch a five-year contract worth RM153 million awarded by United Arab Emirates to manage household waste in Abu Dhabi."
In this regard, we wish to state that a five-year contract for cleaning, collection and transportation of municipal solid waste in Abu Dhabi (Lot 2) worth Dirhams 153,955,431/- (RM159,285,368) was awarded to a Consortium consisting of two companies i.e Model Building Maintenance Establishment (MBM), a company registered in Abu Dhabi and Dallah Establishment (Dallah), a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, respectively, on 20 December 2003.
