On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Manager, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (“Maybank IB”) wishes to announce that on 9 July 2012, the Manager has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Axis Capital Ventures Sdn Bhd, which is held by Dato’ Abas Carl Gunnar bin Abdullah, Alex Lee Lao and Tew Peng Hwee @ Teoh Peng Hwee, with an equity interest of 32.5%, 32.5% and 35.0% respectively. Prior to the change in the shareholding structure of the Manager, the Manager was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Axis Development Sdn Bhd, which is held by T.S. Property Development Sdn Bhd, Suasa Tinggi (M) Sdn Bhd (a Bumiputera-owned company), Pet Resins (M) Sdn Bhd, Axis Equities Sdn Bhd and Tew Peng Hwee @ Teoh Peng Hwee with an equity interest of 30%, 30%, 30%, 5% and 5% respectively.
