| Working experience and occupation | Encik Ahmed Fairuz has over twenty-four (24) years of experience in audit and advisory, corporate finance, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting in various sectors, including industrial products, services, banking, automotive, and property development.
He began his professional career with Messrs. Arthur Andersen & Co. in 2001 before joining Messrs. Ernst & Young. Between 2005 and 2008, he was with CIMB Investment Bank Berhad, where he held various roles within the investment banking and group corporate finance divisions.
He subsequently joined the Naza Corporation Group of Companies ("Naza"), where his last position was the Group Chief Financial Officer. In 2016, he joined KUB Malaysia Berhad as the Group Chief Financial Officer, a position he held until 2019 before assuming the role of Group Chief Executive Officer until 2020. He was thereafter appointed as Group Managing Director of KUB Malaysia Berhad, serving in that capacity from 2020 to 2025.
He also served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Pos Malaysia Berhad from 2019 to 2023 and as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Central Cables Berhad from 2024 to 2025.
Currently, he serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of HI Mobility Berhad and GFM Services Berhad. |
