We refer to the announcement dated 14 February 2012 in relation to the Proposals and Proposed Amendments II. All abbreviations used herein shall have the same meanings as those used in the abovementioned announcement unless stated otherwise. On behalf of the Board of Directors of RCE, Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad (“HLIB”) wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) has approved an extension of time from 13 April 2012 to 11 May 2012 to comply with paragraph 9.33(1)(a) of Bursa Securities’ Main Market Listing Requirements, for the submission of draft Circular in relation to the above Proposals and Proposed Amendments II to Bursa Securities. HLIB is also wishes to announce that, on 27 March 2012, HwangDBS was appointed as the Independent Adviser to advise the non-interested Directors and non-interested shareholders of RCE on the Proposed Exemption. HLIB is also pleased to announce that we have on even date submitted the following: (i) listing application (inclusive of the draft Circular) to Bursa Securities for the Proposed Bonus Issue and the Proposed Rights Issue; and (ii) application to Bank Negara Malaysia for the issuance of redeemable convertible preference shares to non-residents shareholders of RCE pursuant to the Proposed Rights Issue.
