Reference is made to the announcements dated 16 June 2020, 23 July 2020, 14 August 2020, 21 August 2020, 24 August 2020 and 22 September 2020 in relation to the ESS (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the previous Announcements shall apply herein.

The Board wishes to announce that the 2015 ESS is terminated on 20 October 2020 (“Termination Date”) and is replaced by the new ESS. Since the implementation of the 2015 ESS, a total of 39,145,650 ESOS options have been exercised. A total of 93,000 granted ESOS options remained unexercised as at the Termination Date, all of which shall no longer be exercised into new Shares.

The 2015 ESS is terminated after taking into consideration that the remaining number of ESOS options/Shares available to be granted under the 2015 ESS is approximately 4% of the total number of issued Shares (net of treasury shares) as at Termination Date and the Company has no intention of granting any further ESOS options/Shares under the 2015 ESS.

On behalf of the Board, Aminvestment Bank wishes to announce that the effective date for the implementation of the new ESS is on 20 October 2020, which is the date of full compliance of the new ESS with Paragraph 6.43(1) of the Listing Requirements.
