RCECAP - Notice of Bonus Entitlement

Bonus issue of up to 764,755,767 new ordinary shares in RCE Capital Berhad ("RCE") ("RCE Shares") ("Bonus Shares") on the basis of one (1) Bonus Share for every one (1) existing RCE Share held as at 5:00 p.m. on 25 September 2024 ("Entitlement Date")
Kindly be advised of the following :
1) The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “[EX-BONUS ISSUE]” as from: 24 Sep 2024
2) The last date of lodgment : 25 Sep 2024
3) Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
a) Selling Broker to deduct 1/2, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
b) Buying Broker to deduct 50.0%, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
c) Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of 1/2, of the Transacted Price is applicable.
Remarks 1:
Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 25 Sep 2024 with bonus issue of RCECAP shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive RCECAP bonus issue shares, may sell any or all of his RCECAP shares arising from the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (24 Sep 2024).
For example, if Mr X purchases 100 RCECAP shares on cum basis on 23 Sep 2024, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 25 Sep 2024. As a result of the bonus issue, an additional of 100 RCECAP shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 25 Sep 2024 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell a total of 200 RCECAP shares on or after the Ex-Date i.e. from 24 Sep 2024 onwards.
Remarks 2:
The Bonus Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 26 September 2024 ("Listing Date"), being the next market day following the Entitlement Date.
The notice of allotment for the Bonus Shares will be issued and despatched to the entitled shareholders of RCE no later than four (4) market days after the Listing Date.
