He was the President for Malaysian Chinese Association from 2003 to 2008, Chairman of Tunku Abdul Rahman College Council from June 2004 to September 2011 and Member of Parliament for Pontian, Tanjong Piai and Kulai constituencies in Johor since October 1990 to April 2013. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Ong Ka Ting is currently the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to the Peoples' Republic of China and the Chairman of the Malaysia-China Business Council. |
