We refer to our earlier announcements dated 19 January 2015, 20 January 2015, 18 March 2015 and 8 September 2015 in relation to the Private Placement (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein. On behalf of the Board, CIMB wishes to announce that TCB will be issuing 43,980,000 new TCB Shares, representing approximately 10% of the issued and paid-up share capital of TCB as at the date of this announcement following a book-build exercise on 12 October 2015. The Private Placement attracted strong demand from long-term institutional investors. The Placement Shares will be issued at the issue price of RM3.20 for each Placement Share, representing a discount of approximately 9.5% to the (5)-day VWAMP of TCB Shares up to and including 9 October 2015 of RM3.5346 per TCB Share. CIMB is the Sole Bookrunner for the Private Placement.
